Meet Michael. When he developed a skin infection, instead of receiving the care and comfort he desperately needed, his family abandoned him. Thrown out of the only home he’d ever known, Michael was left to fend for himself, scared and in pain.
When he arrived in our care, he was weak and suffering, but with the right treatment and lots of love, Michael made a full recovery in just three months. Now, this playful and affectionate dog has regained his spirit. He’s also incredibly lazy—Michael’s favorite pastimes are snacking on treats and taking long, cozy naps.
